Wm Oates departed this life about the 20th of June intestate, whereof the Court having notice hath decreed his brother & sister, vizt, David & Jony Oates Administrators who are xxxx and sworne and the wife also; a legacy to the wife upon sight of the Invent, viz., 2s 6d. Decretum est et Solvit. Salue Tame vincuing pro jure KK Bride 1657 A true & perfect Invent of the goodes of Willm Oats as foloweth praised by Thomas Crennilt, Donold Christin, Mitchell Cross, & Willm Joughin 4 sworne men: Imprimis half barrel, 3 slipinge[?] of huerde yarne 1 crooke 2s 6d; It, one part of woole, 2 yeardes of rawe cloath 3s 0d; Itt, 5 yoardes of white cloathe, half ould blanket 6s 6d; Itt, the 4th part of a cowe & a calf 9s 6d; Itt, 2 sheepe, 2 muttons, 2 lambes 10s; Itt, 2 foathomes of nett & some lines 10d; Itt, one firlet meale the the part of a pot 3s; Itt, the crop of corne. Itt, 1s is to be deducted out of the foresd Invent. The Administr at age. Pledges Michael Kneale, & Wm Cowle.”
