Archdeacon Will 1658 #24 German, of Reverend William Cosnahan, clerk, dated 20 June 1658 at top: ([page] 18): 
June ye 20th 1658
In ye name of God, Amen. I William Cosnahan clerk 
sicke of body, but of perfect memory praised bee 
God, doe make this my last will & testament as followeth.  
Imprimis, I commit my soule to God & my body to 
Christian [monle] to bee buried in Saint Peters Church.  
Item, I leave to my sonne William Cosnahan 1s.  
To my daughter Ann 6d legacy, to my daughter Margery 
a little garden called Doncans garden adjoining to 
Henry Ratcliffe house under ye Church yard.  
Item, I leave to my neece Dorothy Bridesonne foure 
pounds 10s for her portion wch was in my hands of 
her father’s goods, of wch there is threre poundes in 
ye Receivers hands & twenty shillings in William 
Stevensons & his sonnes handes.  
Item more I leave an iron axe yt is at my sonne’s 
house to pay Thomas Harrison merchant & my neece 
Dorothy Bridesonne.  
Lastely, I  constitute & appoint my two daughters 
Ellin & Elizabeth Cosnahan my true & lawfull Executors 
of all ye rest of my goodes moveable & unmoveable.  
Postscript: Whereas I heare yt my sonne in law 
John Quirk demands a furnished bed or three pounds 
of money; I take it upon my conscience yt I never 
promised neither bed nor poundes to him.

Probatum et Solvit 6d.        
Invent within 14 dayes.  Subpoena juris.                      

The Inventory of Sir William Cosnahan goods answerable 
to his wife’s Inventorie who deceased but latly before: 
his Inventorie in regard of his longe lyinge before 
he died is valued by foure men and the Sumner to be 
worth seven pounds to ther best judgment as wittnesse 
ther hands.

Note yt ther is some certaine .... wch we leave 
unpriced by reason ... have noe judgment in prising.  
All sworne by Will Cowper.                   
A perfect Inventorie brought in by the Executors of 
Sir William Cosnahan namely Ellin Cosnahan & Elsebeth Cosnahan.   
Executors at age. Pledges Richd Quirke & Richd .....  
Secunda forman legis.                       

4th May 1659
Jo: Quirk & Ann his wife doe enter their claime against 
ye exec of Sir Wm Cosnahan for a furnished feather bed 
promised them in their Contract bargain and doe craveth 
tryall accordinge to Law.                           

24th 9ber 1658
Michael Callin entereth his claime against the exec of 
Sir Wm cosnahan for 1s 3d, and craveth the Law.          

Hen: [Stephen] clarke entereth against the sd exec of 
Sir Wm Cosnahan for half of ... ...... dwelling 
houses of the sd Wm  and craveth the Law.  
And also for his [hand] .... .. ......    

Jo: Watleforth entereth against ye sd exec for 27s 
and craveth the Law.        

4th Febr 1658
William Stevenson entereth against the sd exec for 
30s & craveth the Law.        

Finlo Gell entereth against ye sd exec for 3s ....       

Katherin Killy als Moore entereth for 3s 9d.       

Margery Bridson als Cowper entereth for 3 pounds.                      

At KK Arborye 26th 8bris 1659
Wm Cooper Sumner of KK German hath made is ... 
that he charged Jo: Quirk to deliver ... of a small 
garden & house room to Margerye Cosnahan which garden 
& house room ... bequeathed to ye sd Margery by 
ye last will & testament of her father Sr. Wm. 
Cosnahan and hath disobeyed, Therefore a fine 12d
