Joh Keneene sick in body, but whole in mind & of pfect memory,
thanks be to god, doe make my last will & testatmen in manner & form [following]
First I bequeath my soul into ye hands of the allmighty my maker & my
body to Christian buriale: Itm I leave to the poor firlett of corne, & half [firlett]
of my mault yt is in my sons Joh hands; & 10s ?? is made full therewith Itm [it]
is my will yt my son Joh Keneene shall have half of the plow gorer accord=
ing to his contract: Itm. I leave to my said son Joh Keneene 1 Ewe: Itm
I leave to my son Will Keneene 2 sheepe. Itm. I leave to my daughter
Catherine Keneene 2 sheep: & if my said son & daughter Will & Catherine
deforme it: the mother is to give ym as she in her discretion shall thinke good
Itm I leave to my two grandchildren vizt Alas Brew, & Will Keneene to
kiklr of ye a lamb: Itm I leave to 1G my inslor a mutton. Itm. I leave
to Joh: Lace a young sheepe: Itm Declare yt the ed bulk of land I sould
to Will Carratt junor: was not bought; but only left me in a legacy
by Donald Sayle only I yasting & paying to his wife towards ye bringing up
of his children 7S 8d he hath recrited: I doe also declare yt when I
bought the La??lah, yt I give a prosson of ye ewe halfe 1 bre of to my son
in law Will Brew & his wife according to contract: but they both refused to
??? with it only allowing yt they had noe money to pay for it: Itm.
I constitute & ordain my wife Catherine Joughin my true and lawful excu=
trixe: of all the rest of my goods movable & immovable
Debts due to me from son in law Will Brew 3 boules & a firllet of oats. &
1 firlett & 3 quarts of barly, being half of wt corne I did saw for him
ye firs yeere he usalshoe with my daughter
Due from Matt Brew Giloagh 4s for a mutton; but if he pay 2s 6d readily
as hee oure [offered] my self, let it be accepted of: Due from Will Jougin d1 ox & 1 ??
