The last will and Testamt of Mallowny Cowin who depted this
life February 17th 1657. Imprmis he bequeathed his soule
to Almightie God & his body to Christian burall.
Itt, He left unto his stepdaughter Kathren Cotteene 2 goates,
ye thirde parte of the vessels in the ouse, 3 bedde-blankets,
all the coarse wch he had, all his herringe netts, his
shoot-lines for coddes & a handeline, his owne parte of ye
flaxe & heaurdea[?]. Itt, to his other steppe daughter Jane
Cotteene a goate, & what was due to her by handefasting bargaine.
Itt, to Willm Cannan a white wastecoate, a Rackentree, poothookes,
& sheshhote[?], an olde handeline.
Itt, to Robt Kerush taylor a shee kidde. Itt, to his Aunt Anne
Cowine a shee kidde. Itt, to Robt Kerush Junr a corke-booye &
towe, a pundrell & line, & his kellagge lines, an shee goate
of 2 yeares olde. Itt to ye poore a goate or ye worth of a goate.
It is his will that his daughter Kathren Cotteene should choose
wheather she would have the cow or the heifer for ye
satisfaction of her fathers goodes, & if she tooke the cowe,
that she was to returne his owne daughter a weaned calfe of
8 weekes olde, & if she chose the heifer, his daughter was to
give her such a calfe. Itt, he constituted his owne daughter
Margrett Cowine Exeuctrixe of all the rest of his goodes moveable,
& unmoveable. Itt, to Phill: Colliesh a kid for 3 qters of
cloth formerly left him by his wife. Itt, to Margret Kieley a
kid insteade of a hen due to her. Itt, to Tho Calow a choice
shee kid which was due to him. Itt to ye Minister & Clerke ye
spotted goate of a yeare olde.

The execr is sworne to performe this will and also the will
of Christian Coleishe his weiffe in regard the sd Mallowney
Cowin her father dyed before the probacn of the former will.

The Inventory of the goods of the aforenamed Mall: Cowin priced
by Robt Kerush, Wm Kieoley, Phill: Cowin & John Calow Jurati,
doeth amounte to he Just summe of --- 31s.
