The last will & testament of Mally Stevenson 
alias Crellin beinge in perfect memory, who 
departed this life the seven of Janiuary 1658.  
Shee left to ye poore 1 bowle malt, 1 firlett wheat, 
and ye rest at ye discretion of her executor.  
Itm, to her brother Tho: Crellin the third part 
of all her goods moveable and unmoveable as 
xx xxx him together[?].  
Itm, to her brother Robt 1 cow, a heffer, 
a horse and maire, a blanket & sheet.  
Itm, to her god-daughter Mally Crellin 1 sheep 
& a lambe.  
Itm, to his son Wm Crellin a sheep a lambe 
& 2s in money.  
Itm, to her sister Margret Crellin 1 calfe cow, 
a heffer, or half cow, a horse & maire, a sheep[?].      
Itm, to her daughter in law Jane Stevenson a 
green petticoate, a greene apron, & a ronnet[?] handkerchief.  
Itm, to Mally Crellin a petticoate, apron, a sheep, 
a lambe & a Loughton wasecoate.  
Itm, to her godson Tho: Woods son 2 yards of russet cloath.  
Itm, to her stepdaughter Tho: Wood’s wife a laughton petticoate.  
Itm, to Mr Sale’s wife a red petticoate, 
an apron & kerchiefe.  
Itm, to Wm Quaye’s wife 1 red petticoate.  
Itm, ye disposinge of her linens to her daughter 
in law Jane Stevenson.  
Itm, to Sir Tho: Hanson[?] a mutton.  
Itm, Shee constituted & ordained her husband 
Wm Stevenson her lawful executor of all the 
rest of her goods moveable & unmoveable.

Jony Carie[?], juratus.                     

xx April 1659
By consent of Robt & Tho: Crellin who hath 
undertaken as well for their sister Margrett 
as themselfes that she shall give full 
consent with them otherwise to make her 
demands good out of her own part, This will 
is proved with ye oath of Tho: Woods onely 
notwithstanding his relation to ye exec 
being his son in law; and so the exec being 
sworne according to Law.

Invent at next Shedding Court xxxx 
subpoena 40s ad xxxx xxxx[Latin]                        

28th July 1659: Wm Cowper Sumner hath made 
his affidavid he summoned the exec of Mlly 
Crellin als Stevenson to appeare at this 
Court to bring in her Invent accordinge to 
his oath xxxxx hath disobeyed therefore a fine 12d.                    

28 July 1659: Wm Keighen entereth his claime 
against ye exec of Mally Crellin als Stevenson 
for 40s sterling and craveth the Law.          

Tho: Woods entereth his claime against ye sd 
exec for 50s sterling and the one half of ye 
goods due to his wife by ye death and Invent 
of her mother Alice Ratcliffe als Stevenson, 
and craveth ye benefit of ye Law.         

28th July 1659: The exec of Mally Crellin viz 
Wm Stevenson hath undertaken to pay all debts, 
& legacyes of or belonging to and bequeathed 
by ye sd Mally; and hath given securitye to 
performe the same Robt Stevenson his son & Ed: 
Stanley, and also to secure the office 
accordinge to Law, sub xxxx 60 sterl.
