           Maughold ... 7th 1659
The last will and testament of Doncan Costen 
who departed this life February 12th 1658.  
Imprimis he bequeathed to his daughter Katherin 
Costen halfe his part of a croppe of coarne, 
halfe a maire, a quarter of a fallowe cowe, 
half a calf of a yeare old.  
Itt, to James Collish 2 pottles of oats.  
Itt, he constituted & appointed to his daughter 
Margert Costen halfe executor of all the rest 
of his goods moveable & unmoveable, & his two 
sonnes vidz Willm & John Costen joint executor 
of the other halfe.

The Exec sworne.  Probat et Solvit 1s.    

An Inventory of the goode of ye above named 
Doncan Costen taken & priced by Wm Christin, 
Do: Cowle, Jo: Quarke & Wm Lowney jurati.  
Imprimis & ...... in toto  12 pounds sterling.    
The exec at age.  
Pledges James Colleish, & Patr Cowle, accordinge to Law.

Jo: Costeane entereth his claime against ye exec 
of Doncan Costean for his mothers porcion of goods 
and craveth ye Law.        

James Colleish entereth for 2 dayes plowing and 
for part[?] in his corne and craveth the Law.

Alice Cowle entereth against ye sd exec of Doncan 
Costeane for 9s and 2 batts of barley for 9 years 
for wch she craveth ye Law, also for a chist and 
ye interest therof.
