KK Mahold first of April 1659
The last will and testament of Kathrin Cowle, 
first committed hir soule to God, and hir 
bodie to Christian burall.  
Itt, she bequeathed unto hir eldest brother 
Richard hir part of the crope of corne hir 
parte of the teame of oxen, with all other 
husbandrie geares.  
Itt, she bequeathed unto hir sd brother, and 
hir brother Thomas hir parte of the sheepe.  
Itt, she bequeathed unto hir brother Wm 2 
sheepe 2 lambes.  
Itt, she bequeathed unto hir mother hir part 
of all the catle and household stuff and shee 
to dispose of it, to hir sister Margerie.  
Itt, shee bequeathed unto Ellinor Cowle 1 
sheepe 1 lambe.  
Itt, shee constituted and ordained hir mother 
hir true and lawfull executor of all hir 
goods movable and unmovable.

Patr Cowle Sumner of KK Mayhold hath made his affidavid and 
that he summoned the next of kinred of Katherin Cowle to 
appeare at this Court and have disobeyed therefore in fine 
12d and to be brought in by a soldier at next Court.     

To Nichols Christian soldier
Wheras it appears by the affidavid of Patr Cowle Sumner 
of KK Mauhold That the next of kinred of Katherin Cowle 
disobeyed to appeare at the last Wil Court beinge lawfully 
summoned; Therfore you are to require the sd next of 
kinred to appear at KK Christ Ley Aire on Friday the 2th 
of this Instant to satisfy the Law otherwise up
on their neglect you are to comitt their bodyes and this 
shall be your warrant date
