Amy Christian departed this life ye
9th of Febr 1658 intestate and likewise
the only child of ye sd Amy viz Ed:
Christian who (by Law) ought to be and
ye Court would have ordained her
Administrator departing this life not
capable of making any will; whereof the
Court havinge notice hath decreed
(accordinge to ye ancient Lawes and Customes
of this Isle) the next of kindred on the
mother’s side from whom the goods came
viz James, Anne & Jaine Christian
Administrators, A legasie to ye father
of ye orphant upon sight of ye Invent,
viz 7 pounds.
17 June 1659.
The Administr. Sworne accordinge to Law.
Salvo tamen vuinge suo juie.
Decreted est et Solvit 2s 6d.
Invent within 14 dayes subpoena 20 pounds.
Mr. Ed: Christian hath in the face of ye
Court appealed from ye proceedings of
this Court to ye honorable Governor,
which accepted of, and 14 dayes granted
him to make good the same.

An Invent of ye goods of Amy Christian
as followeth:
Imprimis 1 bedtick certeane goods and
household stuff to ye xxxxx of 4 pounds : xx shillings : xx pence [hidden in fold];
Itt, her poiruic[?] 9[?]:xx:xx;
out of which there is to be deducted for
her husbands legasy 7:xx:xx.
The Administr at age.
Pledges Mr. Richd Tylesly xxxx according to Law.
To my much Esteemed Coseen Mr Richard Stevenson xx:
Cossen Stevenson:
I doe hearby let fall my apeale and doe
wholly stand to the order of ys Courte,
Intreatinge that my daughter may by ys
order what is xxx due[?] be---ge I wold
sind xxxx presently by a boate at Ramsey
in xxxx doinge I shall remayne yr servant,

17 June 1659:
Jo: Kerrush entereth his claime against ye
Administr of Amy Christian for 3 stones
of gray wool price 28s and craveth the Law.
15 8bris 1659:
Capt Jo: Christian entereth his claime against
ye Administr of his wife Amy Christian for ye
sum of 40s sterling laid out by him in funeral
charges & ye nursing of ye child for 1 quarter
a year for which he craveth tryall accordinge to Law.

Isabell Quiggin entereth her clame against ye
Administr of Amy Xtin for 17s sterling and
craveth ye benefit of ye Law
