St. Ann, February the 9th 1664
In the name of God amen. I Xopher Callow sick
and weak in body yet in perfect memory praised
be God do make this my last will and testament
in form and manner following.
Imprimis, I commit my soul unto God that made
it and my body to Xian burial. Item, I leave
unto my loving wife Alice Waterson and to my
daughter Jaine Calow my right of one cow and
calf equally betwixt them.
Item, I leave unto my loving wife 1 iron pot.
Item, I leave unto my 4 children the sum of
six shillings in lieu of the iron pot the same
being due debt from my brother in law John Moore
of Glentraught.
Item, I leave unto my 4 children aforesaid
12d apiece legacy, vizt., Robert, John, Hugh,
& William Callow.
Item, I leave unto my son William my best suit
of clothes.
Item, I leave unto my loving wife the right
of my croft and dwelling house during her life
and see her after her decease she to leave it
unto my son John.
Item, I leave unto my son Robert 12d legacy.
Item, I leave unto my daughter Alice as much
cloth as will make her a suit legacy.
Item, I leave my youngest daughter Jane Callow
sole Executrix of all my goods moveable and
immoveable, also appointing Hugh Cosnahan
clerk to be supervisor until she come to years.
