The last will and testament of Mary Corteene als Christian who departed this
life ye 24th of March [ano??] Imprimis Shee committed her soule to God, and her
body to Christian buriall. Itm shee bequeathed sixe pounds amongst her relat[ions]
viz xs to Richard Cowle, xs to her sister An, and xxs to her sister Isable a[nd]
the remainder of ye said [vil] to her sister Ellin Callow. Itt shee bequeathed f[??]
To her sister An the blankett that then lay over her, and to her sister Ellin th[e]
little house and ye butt in Corteens gardens. Itt shee constituted and ordained her
husband John Corteen executor of ye rest of her goods, and bequeathed some fe[??]
linens to ye children of Robt Quayle and Ewan Christian wch shee made mention of
in her former will. Itt left a pe[??] of Lynens to her relations.
