6 Novr 6th 1675, Andreas:
This is affirmed to be the last will and
testament of Mary Kneele als Martin who departed
this life about the 6 of Novr., she being sick in body but
whole in mind and of perfect memory.
First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian
burial.
Item, she left to the poor at the discretion of her executor.
Item, she left to Willm Martin 6 pence legacy.
Item, to Willm Christian 6 pence.
Item, to John Carrett 6 pence.
Item, to her sister Ann Martin a xxxx coat and a carchief, & 2 pottles of barley.
Item, to Sir Joh: Huddleston a young mutton.
Item, to Mally Martin 6 pence, to Margt Martin, 6 pence & cuts
them off with the said legacies, if they claim any
right to any of her goods.
Item, she constituted and ordained her loving husband
John Kneele sole Executor of all the rest of her
goods whatsoever moveable and unmoveable and he to xxx
and possess all her lands that belonged to her during
his life and after his decease to her sister Ann Martin.

The Executor sworn in form of law.
Probatum et solvit 12 pence.
The Inventory within 14 days subpeona etc.
The Inventory of the said Testatrix prized to 1 pound 10
shillings 2 pence, being debt less goods.
The goods in the Executor's custody and have given pledges in
form of law Joh:Lace senior & Willm Ratcliff.
Note the debts belonging to the decedent amounts to 1
pound 4 shillings 0 pence, and goods left out of the
Inventory to discharge them.
Octo the 22nd 1676: Willm Christian enters his claim against
the Executor of Mary Martin for the 4th part of a quarter
land of the rent yearly 9 shillings 9 pence due to him as
will appear and craveth trial.
Novr 14th 1676: Willm Kneele enters against the Executor
of Mary Martin for 15 pence due debt."
