This is affirmed to be the last 
will and testament of Ales Brew, 
being sick in body, though of good 
and perfect memory (praised be God) 
committed her soul to God and her 
body to Christian burial.  
Item, she bequeathed to the poor at the 
discretion of her executor.  
Item, she left Catherin Keneene a red coat, 
to Willm Keneen 6 pence, to Cathe: 
and Mally Kneale a pond of wool apiece.  
Item, to her goddaughter Ales Brew a wescoat.  
Item to Philip Brew her brother 12 pence.  
Item, to Ales Brew her goddaughter a pound of wool.  
Item, to Ales Brew Ballaquane a quife, and a muffler.  
Item, to Cathe:Brew Ballaquane a quife and a muffler.  
Item, to her stepmother a brown coat and a 
carchieff and a muffler and the flax.  
Item, to John sayle an apron.  
Item, to Willm Clator a lamb.  
Item, to Sir Joh:Huddleston a mutton.  
Item, she constituted and ordained her loving 
father Willm Brew sole Executor of all the rest; 
as well of what lands belonged to her, as of goods.
