In the Index of Archdeacon Wills, this will is erroneously listed under Marown, but is actually the next Andreas will in the book of wills.


15     Andrews    October 29th 1675: 
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament 
of Collum:Crenilt being in good and perfect manner, 
committed his soul to God, and his body to Christian burial.  
Item he bequeathed to the poor a pottle of meal, and what else is needful therewith.  
Item, to his son Tho:Crenilt 6 pence legacy.  
Item, to each witness of his will 6 pence apiece.  
Item, he constituted and ordained his son Willm Crenilt his true 
and lawful executor of all that belonged to him whatsoever.  
Item, he declared that there is due to him from 
Donll:Christian 3s 8d; from Willm:Crenilt 1s; from Margt Croxxx; 
from Donll:Goldsmith 2s 8d and xxx a quart of barley; 
from Joh:Crenilt 5d, and that his son Thomas should help 
his brother Willm to build him a house, and if he would 
not do so, then his will was that Willm should have the xxxx of the barn.  
Debts that he oweth, as followeth: 
to Randle Sayle 20s; to Ellin Christian 10s; 
to Tho Crenilt his son 2s; to Tho: his brother for ye 
lands 7s 6d and what xxx he paid formerly to Joh:Skinner it was 
for and in behalf of his brother Tho:Crenilt. 
further he declared that he paid to his son Willm for and in 
the behalf of Willm Skinner 5s 6d he paid the said Skinner 
half a hundred of xxx in 10 d and a xxxx he owed him in pease.  
due to Donll:Crenilt 1s and apound an a half of hemp.

The Executor sworn in Court.  Probatum et solvit 12 pence.          

The Inventory of the said Collum Crenilt and Isabel Joughin 
his wife prized by sworn men: Tho:Crenilt, Phillip Teere, Charles 
Cowle, and Joh:Crenilt, amounts to 7 pounds 1 shilling 0 pence.   
Deducted debts 3 pounds 0 shillings 0 pence, that he borrowed to pay for lands.          
Pledges Will Sayle, Donll:Lace.        
Note that Bahee Joughin being charged by the sumner to take her 
legacy answered and said to him that she would fetch it, if 
able, and had non to go for it.
