In the Index of Archdeacon Wills, this will is erroneously listed under Marown, but is actually the next Andreas will in the book of wills.
26 Andreas This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Cathe: Farcher who committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item, she left and bequeathed to each of her 2 sons John & James Cowle as much cloth as will be each them cxxxxx. Item, she left her part of 7 yards of new cloth to her husband Willm Kee. Item, she left to all the rest of her sons Ewan and Phillip Cowle, & he to bring up his said brother Phillip to each witness 4d. Testes: Philip Kneene, Joh: Quirk, jurati. Ewan Cowle sworn in form of law and also supervisor of his said brother underage. A codicil added in these words that she the said Catharine Farcher named her eldest son Ewan Cowle sole executor and he to bring up the youngest son Philip Cowle. Testes Will Kee, J oney Farcher. Probatum et solvit 6d. The Inventory of ye said Testatrix prized by 4 sworn men amounts to 14s 0d. The goods in the custody of the eldest son Ewan Cowle and hath given pledges in form of law.
