      KK Christ Ley ayre, 1675
This is affirmed to be the last will and 
testament of John Camash who departed this 
life about ye 20th of December 1675.  
First, he committed his soule to God, and 
his body to bee buryed in ye Church yard 
of KK Andreas.  
Item, hee bequeathed to his brother Phillip 
Camash a russet coat.  
Item, hee said that he had noe goods to make 
a will of, but five pounds which was in his 
brother in law, John Kewney’s hand, and 
fourteen shillings of his wive’s wages which 
was due from Capt. Garrett, and 3s due to 
himselfe from ye said Capt., which as due 
to him of his wages, before hallowtide.  
Item, he constituted his onely childe Executor 
of all his part of ye above named sums and 
of whatsoever hee had over and besides, 
and left ye same with the childe to his wife, 
and if ye childe should dye then hee bequeathed 
all to his said wife because it was her own, 
and he would not take it from her.  
And 12d apiece legacy to his brother and sister.  
Item, hee said that there was small portion 
of tyth oats which he left for ye reliefe 
of his wife and childe, and a firlet of malt 
to be soald to pay funeral charges.  
Item, he declared that he thought Ewan Kinread 
was paid what was due to him, and that hee 
imagined he would not deny ye same.  
Item, he said that in his need hee had demanded 
somepart of ye five bounds from his said brother 
in law John Kewney, but that he would not get 
any, and that he feared he would deale accordingly 
with his wife, and therefore desired John 
Curghey to assist her and to have six or seven 
shillings for his paines.

The childe of the above Testator beind dead, 
the goods are decreed unto ye wife, according 
to ye above wil.  
Decretum est et Solvit 6d.         

The Inventory included in ye will except some 
household stuff which amounts to 2s 8d.
