This is affirmed to be the last will of 
Anne Howlayne who committed her soul to 
God & her body to Xtian buryall.  
Item, she bequeathed to her brother Richard 
Howlayne [10]s in money whith the .. 
rent that was due to her from him.  
Item, to Richard Howlayne’s wife a petticoate 
and westcoate.  
Item, to the said Richard’s son a sheep 
and a .... & the said Richard’s daughter 
an yearling.  
Item, to her daughter Bessy Kneale a 
blanket and a canvass, 3 yards of white 
course cloth to be her smocke, soe much 
as would be a wastcoate a choice petticoat 
a cherchiefe a sheepe and a lamb and ... 
part of a choffer after Marke Crosses death.  
Item, she left betwixt Margt Crenilt and 
Ellin Kaighin 1 yard of linen cloth and 
a yard of woolen cloth betwixt Wm Cr... 
her youngest daughters.  
Item, to David Xtin 6d legasie.  
Item, to the witnesses of her will 6d apiece.  
Item, she constitute & ordained her husband 
Marke Crosse and her son Ed... Crosse joint 
Executors of all the rest of her goods moveable 
and unmoveable whatsoever, to see her will 
performed and herself honestly buryed.  
Further she willed if her son died under age 
that then her sayd husband should be sole Executor.
