November 13th In the name of God Amen, I John Key sick in Body, but whole and perfect in mind, make this my Last Will and Testament in form and manner following. First: I commend and bequeath my previous Soul into the hands of my [redeemer] Christ Jesus, and my body to be interred at Kirk Malew. Secondly: To my two grand-children Kath, Margaret, [?] my heifer and mare; and to my little grand-child Thomas my best suit and [sword]. Item: I leave to Jane Quin that Chest which was my son John's. Item: I leave to [?] a [?] of flaxen cloth. Item: I leave to my Daughter Jane a feather bed and bolster. Item: It is my Will and therefore I desire that a copy of this my Will be sent to my sons at London, and it is my Will and Desire that my grand-child Rob: Sylvester be sent to London next summer, and in case my son Caesar cannot furnish him for his journey, that then my said sons John and James make provision for him [?] [?] [?] he may be sent [?] and also to take care of him when he is there.
