June ye 14th 1682, German
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament 
of Henry Young who departed this life ye 6th of 
Februarie last past.  
First, he committed his soul to God & his body to 
Christian burial.  
Itm, he declared yt there was due unto him from his 
father & mother in law 20 pounds or 18 pounds at 
least as portion his wife wch said sum he left unto 
his eldest son Norris Young.  
Itm, he left unto his youngest son Thomas the whole 
shop with ye consent of his wife who granted to give 
her part also.  
Lastly, he constituted his three sons Valentine, 
John & Thomas his lawful Executors of all the rest 
of his goods moveable & unmoveable, and appointed 
his brother in law Mr. Jo: Norris, his neighbour’s C
aesar Watleworth & James Young overseers of his said 
Executors and did further intimate or signifie that 
if his eldest son could not cover & receive ye foresd 
summe, then he was to be a joint Executor with ye rest 
of his children.

sworn overseer, Cæsar Wattleworth having denyed 
the charge and Jon. Norris to be sworn at next Court.
