Know all men that for as much as it hath pleased Almighty God 
to spare me MARGRET COWLE ALIAS OTTS with xxxxx that I cannot 
in a conupsshon[?] to help my self xxx Deed of Gift unto my 
loving friend ELIZABETH CXXXXX ALS CALLOW all my goods moveable 
and unmoveable for xxx to me MARGRET COULE as aforesaid during 
my natural life and this this cause I do give her the foresaid 
ELIZABETH xxxx all my goods as aforesaid save six pence apiece 
to JOHN XXXXX WIFE AND to KINLEY if they call for it by xxxx 
that she xxxxx hath bound herself to look to me MARGERT COULE 
and xxx me during my life in sickness or in health one xxxx xxxx 
foresaid MARGRET OTES sat up in the bed and took ELIZXXXX as 
aforesaid by the hand and said I now deliver the xxxx I have 
to dispose of and this is truth as witness our xxxx and marks 
this first of November 1685.

Margret Moore.         

THIS BEING PROVED BEFORE THE DEEMSTER as appears by the axxxxx 
& is accepted as the last will and testament of the above 
MARGT COWLE ALS OATES.  
ISABEL CALLOW is sworn in form of Law and hath given[?] pledges 
to secure the office & pay debts Robt Carron.

FEBRUARY YE 23RD 1685/6
THIS DAY ROBERT KARRAN and MARGRET MOORE have deposed that 
MARRIAD OATS made an absolute deed of gift of all the goods 
that she was possessed of at the xxxx of her death upon 
ISABLE CALOW and did shake hands on the same, as a delivery 
as they thought for possession of the same, and further 
they declare that the said MARRIAD OATS did say that if 
any xxxx or xxxx did xxxxxx and show for any part of my 
goods after my death I did cut them off with 6 pence legacy, 
and all this before me, THO: AXXXXX."
