This is affirmed to be ye last will & testament of 
JAMES YOUNG who departed this life ye 22d of December 1686 
being of perfect memory at ye making thereof.  
First he commended his soul to God, & his body to 
Christian burial.  
Itm, he left to his DAUGHTER ELIZABETH a furnished feather 
bed out of ye whole with ye consent of his wife.  
Itm, he left to his SON DAVID YOUNG all his part of ground 
houses & gardens whatsoever he paying to ye Execrs severn 
pounds tenn shillings for & out of ye same when & as they 
would come to age, and the WIFE CATHRINE YOUNG did consent 
to her husband's desire yt their sd SON DAVID should have 
her half of ye sd ground houses & gardens after her decease 
paying ye like summe of 7 pounds 10s to the said execrs.  
Lastly he constituted & appointed his FIVE CHILDREN MARGRETT, 
ANN, EUBONIA, ELLIN, & ALEXANDER his true & lawfull Executors 
of all ye rest of his goods movable & unmovable.

THE EXECRS BEING UNDERAGE, the MOTHER & GRANDFATHER with 
CAESAR WATLEWORTH are sworn Supervisors according to ye 
desire of ye testator.            

Moore added to ye sd will of JAMES YOUNG yt ye youngest SON 
should have 30 s over & above ye rest of ye children out of 
his part of goods.

THE MONEYS WCH DAVID YOUND is to pay to ye Execrs is proportioned 
thus, vizt, to his SISTER ELLIN 6 pounds, & to his BROTHER ALEXR 
1 pound 10s, for which he has given pledges Caeser Watleworth & 
Hen: Waterson: & out of ye other 7 pounds 10 s wch he is to pay 
for his mothers half according to ye will & ye said ALEXR xxxxxx 
execr to  xxxx 6 pounds to equallie xxxx with the other execrs & 
ye other 1 pound 10s to be equally divided among them.

Febr 18th 169x[?]: 
This day xx xxxxx & xxx sonn[?] of James Youngs children
came & having made xxxxxxxx all xxxxxxx xxxxxxx debtless 
in ye mothers hands 18 pounds xxx for ye use of her 
CHILDREN MARGT ANN, & EUBONIA, ye other two being equally 
provided for xx xxxxxxxxxx in David Youngs hands; 
wch children ye said KATH: THEIR MOTHER hath obliged her 
SISTER to keep & maintain in referd[?] some small allowancs 
in xxxxxx Inventory is given her by ye overseers ALEXR YOUNG 
YE GRANDFATHER and CAESAR WATLEWORTH & all this wth ye 
consent of DAVID YOUNG.         
More added by ye grandfather & the mother to be given to 
ye youngest son ten shillings, wch she is to pay him out 
of some moneys due from her to ye GRANDFATHER, & if ye sd 
son live not to enjoy it, then DAVID is to have ye sd xxxx,                                

June 6th 1688: ALEXR YOUNG enters his claime agt ye Executr of his son 
James Young for 5 pounds due debt, & craveth ye Law.                          

JUNE 30TH 1688: 
MARGT YOUNG one of ye Execr of

acknowledged to have xxxxxxxxxx betwixt cloathes 
linen & moneys to xxxxxxxx for England the just 
summe of thirty shillings xxxxxxxxxx of goods,

The above acquittance xxxxxxx Margt. hath 
given a discharge for xxxxxxxx ye death of 
her father as appears xxxxxxxxx and dated June 7th 1691.                   

June the 7th anno dom: 1691:  
Received then from Catherine Gelle of Peel-Town in the 
Isle of Man by the hands of JONATHAN SHUTTLEWORTH of 
Brighteide in the parish of Shefield and County of York 
the summe of six pounds being my full and whole portion 
left me by JAMES YOUNGE MY FATHER deceased I say received 
ye avovesaid xxxx in full of my childs part by me, 
Margaret Younge,

JULY 8TH 1692: 
ANN YOUNG ONE OF JAMES YOUNGs Execurs being at lawfull years 
came this day & acknowledged to be fully satisfied from her 
MOTHER all yt part of goods due to her by ye death of her sd 
FATHER , As witness her subscription the day & year above written, 
ANN YOUNG her mark A.
