In ye name of God Amen I Margt. Black sick & [weak]      [corner torn off]
of Good & pfect memory praised be God do make my last Will ……
in form and maner following. First I comend my precious Soul unto ………
hands of my Blessed Creator *……..* through the merits of my blessed
Saviour Jesus Christ to obtain part of that *……* purchased by him for 
                       & [bequeath]
all *….* as love, & foar^ him my Body to Xtian buriall in hopes of
a Joyfull resurection in the day of *…* Jesus, and as for my worldly
goods whersoth it has pleased God to bless me I leave & bequeath the [same]
in maner following. ffirst I leave & bequeath unto the poor of Ramsey
ten Shillings to be bestowed at ye descretion of my Exer. hereafter mentioned
wth the advise of ye minister of the Parish. Itt. to ye poor of Peeltown
*..* to be bestowed & disposed in like maner. Itt. I leave to my three
youngest Children (towit) Jane, Katherin & Allexander *…* A parcell of
purchased Land in ye parish of KK Andrews Called Close ne Cally wth a parcell
of mortgaged land in KK Christ Lezayr Called the Royn, in leiw of twenty four 
pounds, *….* 10th I compute to be worth Sixty Pounds and this *….* in full
Satisfaction of all their part of goods houses or lands due by their deceased 
ffathers death, also I leave to my sd three children, five pounds and a furnished
ffeather bed a peise, and to my sd two daughters  all my Apparell both
linin & woolen, equally ; Itt. I leave to my Son Hugh twenty pounds wth what
                            wth *………*
merchant wares are in the shopp,^and a furnished feather bed and the use 
of the shopp for ten years, if he have occation for it, his part goods, lands, 
& houses due by his ffathers death also included, also Six yards of linin to be [him]
two shirts. Itt. I leave to my two daughters all [webbs] of linin & stuffs in the house, towards
their cloathing, and the woolen towards Cloathing of my three Sons, Allexander 
having two shirts out of ye [piece] of linin of 12 yards. Itt. I leave to my Son John

all my houses wholy ^  & ordain and appoint him Sole Execr. of all the rest 
of my goods & Chattles moveable & unmoveable w'soever as witness my hand

This day Mr. James Knipe & Mr. Hugh Black came to me in
the *…..* & acknowledged that they were fully paid & satisyd
in & for all things [Due] & [demand] & belonging unto them
by the death of their ffather & mother Hugh & Margaret
Black, according to ye Will of their sd mother ; from
their Brother John Black, whereof they did aquit him
& his [Heirs] & [Exrs] for ever. And therefore I have
made this [memorandum] ; & by virtue of my Oath as Regr.
