The last will & testament of Ester Gelling
alias Kewley who depted this life ye 6th of February
1694 first shee comitted her soule to god &
her body to christian buriall It. Shee left to
her mother her best black coate of stuff It.
shee left to her sister Averick Cowley her best
wasecoate & her best paire of bodys It. shee
left to her brother Philip Kewley two yards
of rusett cloth It. shee left to her husband
Thomas Gelling as mch cloth as yt was in ye
walk milne. It. Shee constituted & ordayned
her onely son Gorge Gelling to be executor of a
quarter of all her goods movable & unmovable
free without any debt & ye other three parts to
her loving husband Thomas Gelling he paying
all duty & debt yt belonges to ye whole
.... it was her will yt if ye child should dye
before he come to lawfull years ye childs good
should fall as due to ye father Thomas Gelling
& 6d a peece legasie to her two brother viz
Philip & John Kewley

for 8d in money and a chest with a lock and another John Kewley for
another chest without a lock due as will be made to appear. .
