In the name of God amen, the 5th of January, 
I Kathrin McLevory being sick in body but of 
good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God 
first she committed her soul unto God and 
her body unto Christian burial and for the 
settling of my goods I give and dispose in manner 
and form following.  
First, for tithe money that I owe I give and 
bequeath to my husband an ox to pay the tithe 
and the remainder to himself.  
Item, she bequeathed to her daughter Kathrine 
Kelly in Ireland fifteen shillings legacy in 
things part whereof xxxx to her xxxxxx & to 
cut her off xxxxx having nothing in executorship.  
Item, she bequeath to her son Patrick her own 
part of the land.  
Item, she makes her daughter Joney, Margret, 
Mally and her son Patrick sole executors of 
her part in goods.  
Item, to the witnesses 6d legacy apiece.  
All this we do certify for truth to be the 
dying woman’s word as witness our hands this 
11th of February 1696/7.

Joney and Margaret 2 of the Executors at age 
are sworn in Court in form of Law and to be 
supervisors of the children underage.    
Probatum est et Solvit 6d.     

The younger children and their goods in the hands 
of their father who hath given pledges John Tear 
& William Kewish according to Law, and also the 
15s left to the daughter in Ireland is in the 
father’s hands, xx xxxx of the goods in the hands 
of the children at age.            

A true Inventory of the goods of Kathrin McLevory 
praised by us John Kneal, Dan Gawn, Robt Killip, 
Willam Voughtin this 10 of Feb 1696/7 as follows:  
For goods moveable and immoveable 2 pounds 19 shillings 00 pence.              

November 10, 1713: Mally Kelley one of the within 
Executors came this day to the Records, and does 
acknowledge to have 10d 18s from John Gell husband  
to her sister Margaret, for what is due to her by 
her father’s death, and also by her mother’s death, 
excepting 7s 4d yet due to her from her fxxxx; 
her stepmother Anne Kelley als Oates to xxxxx xxx xxxx.
