The last will of Katherin Shimmin who 
departed this life the 7th of January 1696/7. 
First she committed her soul to God and 
her body to Christian burial.  
Item, she left to her daughter Avricke and 
her daughter Coonee Cannell all her .... 
woolen and linen legacy.  
Item, she left to her grandson William 
Gelling a sheep.  
Item, she constituted and ordained her 
daughter Jane Gelling alias Cannell to 
be her true and lawful executrix of all 
the rest of her goods moveable and 
unmoveable whatsoever.

Thomas Curghey, 
Thomas Call...     
The Executrix sworn in Court in form of Law.  
Probatum est et solvit 6d.       
The Inventory amounts but to 5s.
