These words are affirmed to be ye last will and Testament
of Daniel Callow who being sick & weak in body yet of
perfect Mind and Memory did thus dispose of himself & of
all his wordly goods in manner and form following First
he bequeathed his Soul to God & his body unto Xtian
burial & [yt in ...] did acknowledge on his death bed
that he had promised the [...] part if his executorship to
his dearly beloved daughter Ann Costean als Callow in
ye presence off Tho: Skillicorn and William Colleash
Itm in Legacy to his son James Callow ye two parts of
a cow instead of a draught beast he promised him in
contract bargain & yt he was in [...] of ye foresd
promise Itm did declare further on his death bed truly
acknowledging before us wittnesses yt he was indebted
unto old Mr David Murrey ye sum of 17s & 6d & for ye
payment thereof he left four muttons beside wt money
he had in the house to clear off any account wth ye sd Mr
Murrey Itm to his 3 granchildren (i.e.) Ann & Cathe
rin & James Callow one sheep a piece. Likewise to his
son James Callow father to the sd children [...] a douzin
sheep & ye three [....] wch he thought was all yt remained
[.........] betwixt my daughter Ann & my son Tho: Callow
Itm he left a blanket unto my daughter in law Joney
Callow als Corkill. Lastly did constitute order & appoint
his son Thom: Callow whole exectr of all ye rest of all
goods moveable and immoveable & in case ye sd son be not
living or come not to look after ye sd Executorship yn his son
James Callow was to enjoy ye same & did hereby further
declare his aforesd Daughter Ann Costean als Callow of
[... ... ] Legacy. And in testomonyt hereoff con...ed
this to be the last Will & testament ye 20th 9ber 1697-8
as witness his subscription
