This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Mrs. 
JANE FLETCHER ALS RATCLIFFE who departed this life the 14th 
of January 1697/8. First, she committed her soul to God 
and her body to Christian burial. 
Item, she left to her GRANDCHILDREN HENRY and FRANCES NORRIS 
5 shillings apiece legacy. 
Item, she left to her GRANDSON RICHARD FLETCHER the 
cupboard and a brass pot. 
Item, she constituted and appointed her loving SON MR. 
ROBERT FLETCHER true and lawful executor of all the 
rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever. 
Item, she willed that all other persons that would 
pretend to sue or claim for anything should be cut 
off with 6 pence legacy. 
Witnesses: 
Robert Claigue, 
Alice Lewn. 

THE EXECUTOR SWORN IN COURT in form of Law. 
Pledges to secure the office and pay all debts and legacies 
according to Law Mr. John Tubman and Mr. William Flexney. 

MARCH 2ND 1697/8
MR. HENRY NORRIS enters his claim against the Executor of 
Mrs. JANE FLETCHER for the sum of 1 pound 11 shillings 8 pence 
due to himself, and also for the half of a cow and the 
increase for 4 years due to his SON HENRY NORRIS as will 
be made to appear &c. 
He enters also for 12 shillings for his SISTER IN LAW's 
funeral and 4 shilling for JOHN FLETCHER diet. 

JUNE THE 14TH 1698
MRS. ELIZABETH BARNS enters her claim against the Executor of 
Mrs. JANE FLETCHER ALS RATCLIFFE for 10 pounds being HER HUSBAND'S 
part of his mother's goods 38 xxx promised to the claimant 
xxxxxx xxxxxxx, the Inch Milne, 1 silver bowle & eight silver 
spoons, a fowling piece, 2 bedsteads with other particulars 
mentioned in a paper and acknowledged by the said Mrs. JANE 
FLETCHER. All due with xxxx as will be made to appear &c. 

JANUARY 9, 1698/9
ROBERT LEWIN enters against the Executors of Mrs. JANE FLETCHER 
for the sum of 6 shillings due to Alice Lewin for wages as will 
be made to appear and craves the Law
