The last will and Testament of Phillip Kewley who de[parted] this life the
17 of November 96
first he committed his soul unt[o] the hands of Almighttey God and his body
to Christian burial
He bequeathed to his two grandchildren Phillip and James Kewley all his
sheep excepting 3 sheep he left unto his daughter Ellr Clague aleas Kewley
of which was due unto the said Ellinor 2 [..?..] the said sheep in
agreement of part of the goods due to her by [the] death of her mother and
the other sheep and 6d legacy to her [..?..] of his own goods
He left to his eldest grandchild Phill Kewley 27s - 06d for to buy him a cow
He left to his youngest grandchild James Kewley a heffer & if so be that
one of those chldren Phillipp or James dye the sd goods shall descend or
fall to the longest liver of them
He ordained and apointed the fore named grandchilldren Phill or James
Kewley his lawfull Executors of all his goods movable or unmovable whatsoever
