This is affirmed to be the last Will & Testament of Joney
Tear als Sail who departed this life the 8th of january 99 being in per=
=fect mind & memory at the making thereof First com[ending]
her soul to god & her body to Xtian burial Itm she be=
queathed to her husband Phill: Saile 20s legazie Itm 
to her sister Jane; a green appren & it if her children
dyed she left to the foresd Jane 2s Itm to her brother James
Tear 18s and if her foressaid children dye he was to be
cut of by the same legazie Itm to her sister Ann a kerchief
a calico pinner; Itm to her godson John Saile 1s: Itm to
Ann Clark a rideing hud; Itm she appointed her four
children (vizt Phill: Bahee, Margret, & Will:) sole & joyn ex..
of all her goods moveable & immovable; Itm she left [the]
goods and the children in the hands of the father and to [be]
given them as they come to age; It she left to Thos
Saile 2s and appointed him overseer over her children
Lastly she left to John Clator 2s & the bed and to Thos B[ittel]
eighteen pence.

left her goods in case the children dye under age, they
say the apprehend and believe that it was to the
Father

This day Philip Sayle came to ye records & acknowledged to have
recd
the full sum of three pound twelve shills & four pence due to him
by ye death of his mother, and does hereby acquit his father of
ye same. As witness his mark to his name

by the Death of their brother Wm Sayle
and do acquit & discharge their sd Father for
the same, being the remainder part of ye
goods due to ye sd Wm Sayle by ye death of
