63      Bride
This is affirmed to be the last will of Bahee Kneale als Goldsmith 
who departed this life April 2nd, 1700. First she committed her 
soul unto God and her body to Christian burial. 
Item, she left to her husband Daniel Goldsmith the money due 
out of Ballamoar, the cow, the feather bed with a new blanket 
and sheet, and the old blanket to be taken off, the best chest 
in the house, another white blanket, 3 yards of russet cloth, 
a winding belt, all what corn remains after sowing and all 
their mortgaged lands. 
Item, she left to her sister Anne two shillings that were in 
her own hands, with a coife and kerchief. 
Item, she left to Anne Castil a petticoat. 
Item, to Christin Kneale another petticoat. 
Item, to her grandchild William Lace a sheep. 
Item, she left to Jane Goldsmith als Lace the coverlet that 
was over her own bed, her part of the gridiron, a white 
waistcoat, a white petticoat, a choice apron, with a coife 
and kerchief. 
Item, she left to her grandchild Margret Lace a coife and 
kerchief and a lint wheel. 
Item, she left to Nelly Cowle a blanket that was over her 
husband’s bed, and a shift. 
Item, to Bessy Sayle a coife of English cloth. 
Item, she left her part of the croft at the bridge to her 
brother William Kneale, besides another year’s crop if her 
husband pleased, to which he consented. 
Item, to the witnesses of the will six pence apiece legacy, 
and constituted and appointed her said brother William 
Kneale sole Executor of all the rest of her good moveable 
and unmoveable. 
Item, to John Kneale the pot after the death of her husband.
