In the name of God, amen, the 24th day of Sept 1700: 
I Ann Norris being sick and weak in body, but of sound and 
perfect memory (praise be given to God for the same) and 
knowing the uncertainty of this life on earth, do make this 
my last will and testament in manner and form following: 
that is to say, First and principally I commend my soul 
into the hands of Almighty God my Creator, assuredly 
trusting through the merits of Christ Jesus my Savior, 
that I shall receive full pardon and remission of all my 
sins, and my body to the earth from whence it was taken, 
to be buried in such decent & Christian manner as to 
my Executive, hereafter named; shall be thought meet and convenient. 
Item, I leave and bequeath that John Wattleworth of 
Castletown is indebted unto me twenty shillings. 
Item, I leave that George Harrison of KK Arbory had some 
sheep of mine a keeping, with a cow on the half increase, 
of which I never got any account but two shilling by 
Ann Walker at one time, and half a crown in Kath: Foxes 
at three guineas. 
Item, I bequeath unto my daughter Ann my best hud and 
best handkerchief legacy. 
Item, to my daughter Ellinor and daughter Elizabeth a 
pair of sheets apiece legacy. 
Item, to my grandchild Henry Norris a silver bowl and 
silver spoon legacy. 
Item, to my grandchild Frances Norris one furnished featherbed legacy. 
Lastly I constitute all the rest of my goods moveable 
and immoveable whatsoever in presence of:
