This is affirmed to be ye last will and testament 
of Thomas Leece who departed this life about 
the 5th of April 1702, being in perfect mind & 
memory at ye making thereof.  
First, He committed his soul to God & his 
body to Xtn burial.  
Itt, He left to his son John 20s & a lamb.   
Itt, He left to his daughter Mary 22s 6d & a lamb.   
Itt, He left to Margt Callister 12d, & to 
Thomas Clerk 12d.   
Itt, He left to ye witnesses of his will 12d apiece.  
Lastly, He appointed his wife Joney his true 
& lawful Exerx of all ye rest of his goods 
movable & unmovable;  & He declared yt if his 
sd two children shud died before they came to 
age, yt then his sd wife was to enjoy the goods 
he cutting off all claimers with 6d apiece legacy.

The wife sworn in Court in form of Law.  
Probatum est et Solvit.   
Pledges to secure the office and pay all debts 
and legacies in form of Law the witnesses of ye Will
