Wm Qualtrough Mariner a native of this Island
departed this life on his return from the west Ind[ies]
about Sepr 1701 Intestate whereof the court having
intelligence hath decreed his only child Mary Qual=
trough sole Admmstr of all his goods chattles & effects
whatsoever in the Island and in regard yt ye child
is now living with her grandmother on ye mothers side
in ye Islands of Orkney, and if there are severall [..]
[..] to [..] ye affect yt Court that ye said Wm
Qualtrough was married to Elizabeth Flett of ye parish
of Stromsey [?] in ye Isle of Orkney She de[..] of
ye [..] child with ye custody of her goods is committed
to the care [?] & trust [..] [..] mother ye [..] Elizabeth
who is accordingly [sworn] supervisor in form of Law
