The last will and testament of John Gelling who 
departed this life the 2d of November 1704, 
being in perfect mind and memory.  
First he committed his soul to God and body to 
Christian burial.  
Item, he bequeathed to the poor three half 
firletts of barley or the ........ of oate meal.  
Item, he left to his daughter Margrett 6d legacy.  
Item, he left his daughter Eliz: ten shillings legacy.  
Item, he left to his wife a pair of blankets, a 
pair of sheets and a ... and a young cow or 
heifer in calf.  
Itm, he constituted and appointed his son John 
Gellin his true and lawful executor of all the 
rest of his goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever.
