Stephen Tear departed this life about ye 
13 July 1705 intestate; whereupon ye 
Church hath decreed his two children vizt, 
Catherine & Jony his true & joint Admrs 
of all his goods movable & immovable.  
The children being under age, their uncle 
John Tear is sworn in form of Law, with 
their mother to bring in a perfect Inventory.   
Decretum est & Solvit 12d.                    

The Inventory amounts in gross clear to 
ye children 11s 8d    0:11:8.   
The goods in ye hands of ye Supr John 
Tear who hath given pledge for ye same
