This is affirmed to be the last will of Jony
Cowle als Lawson who departed this life
ye first of July 1707 being in perfect
memory at ye making thereof: first she
committed her soul to God & body to
Xtian burial: Itm she left to her son John
a lamb: Itm to her daughter Jony a
lamb: Itm to her eldest son Donald a firlot
of barley & half firlot of oats: Itm
she appointed her husband John Cowle
Exore & if there remained anything of
her goods after ye debts paid it shud be
expended in ye bringing up of ye youngest
child. To ye witnesses 3d apiece.
The Exor sworn in form of law
