The Third of November 1712 Marown This is affirmed to be the Last Will of Willam Crettney who departed this life shortly after Whitsuntide Last: First hee Bequeathed his Soul to God and body to Christian Burial. Hee left all his goods to his wife if shee bee pleased to take them and pay his debts out of them. Hee left to his Eldest son Willm. Crettney all his husbanding goods with his part of the Crop. the sd. son paying eighteen pence or twelve pence a piece to the rest of his Children. hee Left his part of the intack inclosed by himself to his sd. Eldest son and if his wife Ann Crettney alias Cottier would give her consent to leave her part of the Fore sd. intack to his above sd. Eldest son that if shee should hand the benefit of the whole tenement till his Eldest son Came to one and twenty years of age hee ordered that Robt Fargher of KK Sanatan and William Kermole of KK Marown, witnesses to his will should be supr.visors to his Children Hee nominated and Apointed his above sd. wife too be his Executor of this his last will and testament Wittness present Robert Fargher his mk. Cretney for = 2lb. = 8s. = 06d. & craves the Law. It. He enter for = £1 :4 s :00 d. the price of a horse and mare: & 2 s.: 6d. wch. his sd. son demanded, & received from the claimer’s wife to pay for his proportion of half …. June 5 1713.
