This is affirmed to be ye last will and testament 
of John Martin who departed this life the 3d of 
May 1712, being in perfect memory at the 
making thereof.   
First he committed his soul to God and 
body to Xtian burial.  
It, he left to his daughter Jony thirty shills.  
It, to his two grandchildren Jony’s daughters 
five shills to each.  
Itt, to his son in law John Tear twenty shillings 
and four pence yt was due to him of his portion.  
It, he left his share of ye Crop to his wife 
whilst she lived, & after her death to  to 
returne to his son John.  
Itt, he left to his wife his part of ye feather 
bed and bedcloathes.  He also left to his 
wife twenty shillings.  
Itt, to ye witnesses of ye will 1s to each.  
Lastly he constituted and appointed his 
son John sole Execr of all the rest of his 
goods moveable and unmovable whatsoever.
