This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of ANNE HOWLAN 
of the said parish of KK Bride, who departed this life the 4th of 
February 1714 being in perfect mind and memory oat the making of the same.  
First, she committed her could to God and body to Christian burial.  
She left and bequeathed to her DAUGHTER MARGARET HOWLAN the big 
chest and all that was within the same, her HUSBAND WILLIAM 
HOWLAN gave his consent to give the said chest to his said 
daughter, and all that was in the same, reserving to himself 
his own part of the yarn and linen cloth that was in the same chest.  
Item, to her said DAUGHTER the little wheel all her shaped 
linen and woolen clothes and a yearling excepting a petticoat 
waistcoat and a smock which she left to her DAUGHTER CHRISTIAN 
HOWLAN as legacy.  
Item, to her DAUGHTER IN LAW MARGARET KNEALE four yards of a 
web that was in the house.  
Item, all the remaining part of the said web to her aforesaid 
DAUGHGTER MARGARET HOWLAN.  
Item, to her SON PATRICK HOWLAN a shirt of the finest tow yarn 
that was in the above mentioned chest and a sheep and a lamb.  
Item, she left on her SON WILLIAM to give a coat and breeches 
to her said SON PATRICK HOWLAN and to give him residence or 
entertainment in the house as formerly while he was with his master.  
Item, to her said HUSBAND WILLIAM HOWLAN all the rest of her 
part of the moveable goods.  
Item, she willed that her said DAUGHTER MARGARET HOWLAN should 
have all what belonged to herself of the yarn.  
Lastly, she nominated and appointed her said SON WILLIAM HOWLAN  
sole Executor of all the rest of her goods and effects moveable 
and unmoveable whatsoever .
