56      KK Bride 1716
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of ISABEL HOWLAND 
ALS CORKISH of the Parish of KK Bride, who departed this life the 20th 
of March in the year 1715/ being in perfect mind and memory at the 
making of the same.  First she committed her soul to God, and body 
to Christian burial.  
She left and bequeathed to MARGARET CORKISH a heifer out of the whole, 
and all her clothes linen and woolen, a blanket, her part of all the 
flax and tow spun and unspun, and three or four pottles of line seed, 
and all the linen and woolen clothes shaped and unshaped which the 
said MARGARET had of her own, and also all what the said MARGARET 
CORKISH had made, while she was with her, viz., with her deceadent 
AUNT or whatsoever goods was named upon the said MARGARET CORKISH, 
wholly to herself.  
Item, to her DAUGHTER IN LAW CHRISTIAN HOWLAN a handerchief, a neck 
cloth, and a quiff.  Item, to ANNE CORKISH a handkerchief and a quiff.  
Item, to the witnesses of this her last will six pence legacy apiece.  
Lastly, she nominated and appointed her SON CHRISTOPHER HOWLAN sole 
Executor of all the rest of her goods and effects moveable and 
unmoveable whatsoever.

Mark Camaish my Mark X, jurati.            

THE EXECUTOR SWORN in Court in form of Law.  
Probatum et Solvit 1s.  
Pledges to secure the office, &c., 
John Christian & Mark Camaish."
