This is affirmed to be the Last Will and Testament of Margt. Clark als Kewen who 
departed this life the 6th of January 1718 being of good & perfect memory.
First she committed her soul to God & Body to Xtian Burial. 
Item She left & bequeathed to her son Jon her pt. of the purchased lands to ???? as ????? 
forever as well the land as Intack 
Item she left to her children Patrick and Ann half of that piece of ground commonly 
known by the name of land foile? & of the meddow adjoining to the Land being B?? 
land, each of the meddow & land foile was purchased by the Testatrix & husband, all 
which particulars they are to rest in the possession of Patrick and Ann absolute? Until 
her sd. Son Jon shall pay the sum of four pounds to Alice Clark, twenty shillings to her 
Brother Dan Kewen, & twelve pounds to her children Patrick and Ann to which her son 
John has obliged himself to see satisfied.
Item she bequeathed to her Son Jon, quarter of the crop, her part of the team & 
husbandry gears, a calf of five weeks old, & ten yards of Longhtin cloth that was in the 
Tuck Miln, & a waistcot of gray cloth. 
Item the black wool that was in the house to be equally divided twixt her husband & her 
two sons. 
Item she left to her husband the bay filley as legacie.
Item She left to her Daughter Ann one great and little wheel, all her whool???? & all her 
shaped clothes, viz. linnen & woolen.
Item she left to her Brother Dan a hog
Item she left to her sister Mally a hog. 
Likewise her husband has consented to this Will & obligeth himself to give this to Son 
Jon Clark ?? of all his Lands 
(unclear wording but states generally that he will leave everything to 
their son Jon when he dies, or to his survivors)
Lastly she nominated and appointed her children Patrick and Ann Clark her true and 
lawful Executors of all the rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever.

				The Executors have sworn in Court of law.

Margt. Clark als Kewn having in her last will (to which her husband John Clark 
consented) left to her son and heir Jon Clark as Heirship a certain parcel of B?? land 
called the Lane foile with the meadow thereto adjoining, her sd son & Heir paying the 
foll. Sums.
		To Alice Clark             4:00:00
		To Dan Kewn	               1:00:00
		To her children Patrick & 
		Ann Clark                 12:00:00
Now therefore the sd. Alice Clark, Dan Kewn, & Patrick and Ann Clark, do hereby 
acknowledge to have rec'd from John Clark the sd several sums annexed to our Names, 
and we do hereby acquit & discharge the sd John Clark, his heirs ex'ors for ???
