31 Maughold 1721
This is affirmed to be the last will of Robt Creetch
who departed this life abt the 20th of March 1720
commending in perfect mind & memory, his
Soul to God & body to Christian burial. Item
he bequeathed to his son Wm the half crop, the
husbandry gears, ye 2 beast of the plow, & the 3 sheep
wch he had promisd him in contract, together
wth another sheep, as legacy. Item he left his
pt of the grey filly to his wife & daugher Kathrine
equally betwixt them. And asking his wife whe=
=ther she wd venture to take the goods & pay the
debts, she answerd she wd. Upon wch he ap=
=pointed his sd wife sole Exx, & in case there
shd be any remaindr of goods after the payment
of debts, he left the whole to be dispos'd of
by his wife as she thought fitting
