This affirmed to be the last will [and testament]
of Joney Clark als Corlet, who departed [this life on]
the 18 January 1721/22 being in perfect [mind & memory]
at the making thereof, which was [... ...]
First, she commended her soul to [God and her]
Body to christian Burial. Item. She [left to]
her sister Nelly Kevish als Corlet forty p[ounds]
legacy, with þ shap'd linen & woollen cloa[thes]
(excepting a choice kerchief or breed to be given [to her]
husband). As alfo her part of four Holy=day [...]
to her sd sister: and her part of a piece of g[...]
cloth that was in the hayle(?) Item. She [left]
to her neece Katy Kevish her own little wheel.
Item. She left to her nephew Edward Lawson five [pounds]
as legacy. Item. She left to nephew J[ohn]
Lawson five pounds as legacy. Item. She left
to her servant maid Joney Goldsmith a coife & [...]
chief or Bussell & a petticoat yt she wore. Item
she left six pence
legacy to all such as would claim any right to her
Goods hereafter. Item. She order'd & appointed
the above sum of forty pounds shall be paid
Michalemafs day after her decease as well as ye
aforemention'd ten pounds on the sd day. Lastly she
constituted & nominated & appointed her loving Hus[band]
William Clark sole & lawful Execr of all the [rest]
of her Goods Lands Chattels & Effects moveable [and im=]
=moveable whatsoever. Item. She left to [the]
witnesses of her will six pence apiece.
