In the name of God Amen.
I Daniel Birrag sick and infirm of body, but of good and perfect memory do
make this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First He
commited his soul to God and body to Xtian burial.
Item He left to his sister Cathrin Birrag three shillings legacy.
Item He left to his nephews and nieces vizt Daniel, Margt, Mary and Jon
Corlett of KK Michael fifteen shillings legacie to be equally divided
between them and further he leaves to the above Daniel Corlett a lamb and
the best coat he had.
Item To William Callister his great coat.
Item He left to Thomas Gawn a coat.
Item To Philip Gawn Sumner his best waistcoat.
Item To Philip Gawn, taylor, his best breeches
Item to Daniel Cain his best cap and 12 d legacy.
He being one of the witnesses to this his said will.
Item to the aforesd Thomas Clark ten shillings and to be assistant to his
daughter Cathrin Birrag in levying and getting in what moneys was due to
him. Also he left to the above said Thomas Clark fifteen shillings and six
pence legacy - he aiding and assisting his aforesaid daughter as is above
specified.
Item Aforesaid Thomas Clark to collect this said moneys and to dispose of
the same as he thought best to his said daughter1s benefit and advantage and
further it was his will that his said daughter Cathrine Birrag should
neither sell nor dispose of any of the cattle and effects without the
aforesaid Thomas Clarks priority and knowledge until she was married.
Lastly he consituted and appointed his daughter Cath Birrag sole executrix
of all the rest of his goods moveable and unmoveable of what sort soever.
Testes PROBATUM EST and solvit 12d
