KK Bride 1723
This is affirmed to be the last Will & Testament
of Margret Corkish als Cowle, who departed this life ye
19th Sepr 1723, and was in perfect mind & memory
at the making threof.
First, She committed her soul to God, and her
body to Christian burial. Itm. She left to her eldest
son John Corkish the bought land, & the crop; and her
part of the little heifer; out of which she ordered her
said son to pay five pounds to her daughter Mally Corkish
in five years time. Itm. She left to her two
children harry & Catherine thirty shillings each; Itm.
she ordered that there was ten shillings due to James
Dawson of Cooltrain for instructing her son Wm Corkish
in the bakers trade; which her husband & her Exectr
was to pay ..... giving him necessary cloathing.
Itm She left to her two daughters Mally & cath=
=erine her linen & woollen cloaths. Lastly she
appointed her sd daughter Mall sole & lawful
Exectrx of all the rest of her goods moveable & im=
=movable whatsoever.
