Braddan
The last Will and testament of Gilnow Creetch of
ye aforsd parish made & declared before us ye subscribing
witnesses, April ye 12th 1724 who, in perfect mind &
memory, committed his Soul unto God, & his body to
Christian burial.
Item, he left to, & equally among his daughter Jony's
children twenty shills, ten shills which Thomas Lewn (Balla
Creetch) owed him, with six shills more in Wm Garrett's
hands. Item He left his part of ye colt to his grand=
=son James Oates. Item To his son Robt Creetch six
shills & six pence which John Creer (BallaMaddey) ow'd
him. Item he declared that John Cashin owed him
three shillings, which he left to his son in law James
Oates. Item He left to his daughter Jony a fine
sheep & her pick of a cow. Item to his son Robert's children a
little heifer
equally betwixt them. Lastly he constituted and
appointed his son Daniel sole & lawful Extr of all
ye rest of his goods moveable & immoveable whatsover.
