This is affirmed to be the last will and 
testament of Isabel Qualtrough als Bridson 
of the parish of KK Malew who departed this 
life the 28th of December 1724.  
Imprimis, she committed her soul to Almighty 
God and her body to Christian burial.  
Item, she left to her daughter Ann a cow that 
she had at Wm Bares.  
Item, she left to her daughter Ann a heifer, 
that she had at her son Richard’s.  
Item, she left to her daughter Ann all her 
apparel and all her linen and woolen whatever 
and a coarse sheet and her bedclothes, except 
two petticoats a kerley one and a stript 
petticoat that she wore outmost of her clothes 
to her daughter Margaret.  
Item, she left the eldest of her black petticoats 
to her daughter Alice, and likewise she said 
that it was the bestway to give her daughter 
Alice one of her green aprons.  
Item, she bequeathed to her son Nicholas and 
to her son Richard and to her son in law Richard 
Kinley, two cows that she had.  
Item, she left upon her three sons before 
mentioned to give her grandson Christopher 
Bridson five shillings.  
Item, she declared if her son in law William 
Teare had any demands upon her, and if he gained 
it, she said that her three sons before said was 
to pay him, and she left her son in law William 
Teare 6d legacy.  
Item, she declared that William Shimmin owed 
her either 8d or 2d. 
Item, she left likewise to her daughter Ann her chest.  
Item, she left likewise to her daughter Ann a pot.  
Lastly she constituted and appointed her son 
John Bridson whole Executor of all the rest of 
her goods whatever moveable and unmoveable.
