21          Rushin
In the name of God, amen. I Ann Qualtrough  
of the Parish of Trinity Rushin being very 
sick and weak in body but of a sound mind 
and perfect memory, thanks be to god therefore, 
First I offer up my soul to God that gave it 
and my body to a Christian burial in hope of 
a joyful resurrection through the merits of 
Jesus Christ my Saviour.  
As for those worldly effects that it hath 
pleased God to bless me, I leave and bequeath 
them as is here after mentioned.  
Imprimis, I leave and bequeath to my stepdaughter 
Christian Gill the house and garden and all the 
household goods that belongs to it.  
Item, I leave to my son Henry all my books and 
sixpence legacy. Likewise to my son William 6d legacy.  
In testimony hereof I have subscribed my name 
and affixed my mark the first day of October in 
the year of our Lord God 1722.
