        Ballaugh  1724

The last Will of Katherine Killip als Quayle
who being of sound mind and memory commen-
ded  first her Soul to God & Body to Christian
Burial.  Item she declared there was only due to
her son Thomas 4 m of his father’s goods and that
she promised him 10 m  when he was contracted &
therefore for his sd. 14 m she left him the heifer
which was 3 years old last Christmas & further
a white blanket as legacy.  Item To her son
Wm. she bequeathed ey big Chest which was in his
own possession including in the value of ye same
which were given to him of his father’s goods
To her daughter Katherine she left a cow And
to her kinswoman Ann Collin a shift and black
petticoat and lastly she constituted her hus
band Thomas Killip sole exr. of all the rest
of her goods movable and immovable what
soever & left to his discretion the sole ordering
of her funeral.
