36 Ryshen, 1727 In the name of God, amen. I Mary Kelley als Gell of KK Christ Ryshen, being sick in body, yet of a disposing mind and perfect memory, blessed be God, do make this my last Will as hereafter follows. First I commend my soul to Almighty God, hoping through his infinite mercies and the merits of my blessed Saviour Jesus Christ to obtain perfect remission of all my sins, and my body to Christian burial, to be laid as near my husband’s grave as may be deemed convenient. Item, I leave and bequeath unto my son John Kelley as much corn of several sorts as will sow half the course of this land. Item, to my grandson John Kelley, my half of a steer of 2 years old which is betwixt his father and I. To my grandchildren Ellinor and Alice Qualtrough as much pladding as will make coats for each of them. To the minister 1s and 6d legacy. o John Waterson one of the witnesses to this my last will 6d legacy. And lastly I ordain, constitute and appoint my two daughters Ellinor and Katharine Kelley my only, true and lawful Executrices of all my other effects moveable and unmoveable whatsoever, hereby annulling and revoking all former wills and legacies by me heretofore made and bequeathed, confirming and ratifying this and no other for my last will and testament. In testimony hereof I have hereunto put my sign manual this 6th of February 1727. Mary Kelley my M. Expressed, declared & signed before us: John Quayle, John Waterson my [mark], jurati. The Executrices sworn in Court in form of Law, and have given pledges, the witnesses for the will. Probatum est & solvit 12d
