The last will and Testament of Margret Kewley wife of Philip Kewley of
Gretch Veg in Kk Lonan who Departed this Life the 24th of May 1727 as
follows
Imprimis She comitted her Soul to God, and her Body to Christian Burial
Item She Bequeathed as Legacy to her Neece Issable Corteen three Sheep &
three yearlings, a Yard of Cloath for an Apron, some Edging or Small Lace
that lay in the Chest, her Share of the Flannell (her Husband to get it
mill'd & made up in Cloaths for her, as also to give her a pair of Shoes)
A Small Box or Chest, a Suit of Head-Cloaths Kerchiefs Excepted, and an
Heifer if her Husband pleased to give it vizt the Heiffer
Item She left to her Godson Wm Cown of Gretch Vore a Sheep & a Lamb
Itm She left to her Godson Jon Kewley of Egneash a little Horse
Itm to her Sister Dorothy of Balla-money in Kk Braddan two choice Sutes
of Head-Cloths kerchiefs excepted: as also a [M..?.t] & Petticoat, & two
sutes of Lac'd Head-Cloaths kercheifs Excepted

Itm a Pair of Bodices & a Stomacher to her Neece Margt Corteen
Itm a Red Flannel Petticoat to her Sistr in Law Issable Kewley

Itm a Petticoat & a Green Apron to Phil. Cown's wife viz Mary Clague
Itm a mant (?) & Petticoat to her maid Jony Corkill and as much Ticking
as would make a pair of Bodices
